Mastering Therapy:
50 Years Of Proven Success
Learn from Our Successes & Mistakes,
Address Your Blind Spots, & Boost Your
Confidence to Grow as a Therapist
Learn the Things Grad School Couldn’t Teach You
You can be the best student, know everything in your textbooks by heart...
and still struggle as soon as you get out of school.
That's because grad school will teach you how to think, but your clients will teach you what to do.
Both of us have been thrown into situations where we had no idea how to act. A situation the textbooks had no "right answer" to. A situation where we still had to act confident and composed.
Address Your Blind Spots
In our 50 years of therapy experience we've worked with many interns, fresh grads, and seasoned therapists... and we've seen the same blind spots show up again and again.
Rookie therapists often don't even know they're making mistakes. We sure didn't when we were just starting out!
But looking back on it now we wish someone told us "hey, this is probably not the best way to go about this." Or "hey, I had the same situation happen when I just started. Don't worry, that's completely normal!"
That's why we address the most common blind spots and mistakes inside the course and share some enlightening (and slightly embarrassing personal stories) to help you get a better grasp of how to deal with them.
We'll also show you how to:
Boost Your Confidence Without Having to "Fake It Till You Make It"
The first couple years of therapy can be tough.
You might get clients that come to you with a problem that you have absolutely no experience with... but somehow you're still supposed to look and sound like an expert.
How do you do that?
How do you maintain the confidence required to do your job even when you're thrown into situations where you're looking around wondering "am I really qualified to do this?"
We'll go over some of our favorite tips and stories inside the course.
Plus we'll also cover how to decide when you should ask someone else for help or if you should refer a client to a different therapist due to personal reasons.
50 Years of Experience Condensed into
Easily Digestible Chunks
We’ve worked with thousands of different clients of all ages with different disorders, internal worlds, and problems…
We’ve used different modalities, learned different things (and a lot of the same things), and made some mistakes along the way.
And we’ve put all of the most important things and most interesting stories we’ve had along the way into this course.
All our biggest mistakes… the things we never expected to encounter… and things almost every therapist should know about, but probably doesn’t.

Testimonials
The process of becoming a licensed professional counselor and starting a private practice was overwhelming for me fresh out of graduate school. Todd and Jeffrey were instrumental in my growth as a therapist and a vital support as I navigated the many complexities and obstacles on the way to licensure and private practice. They are great communicators who love to teach and consistently demonstrated their expertise in the field. I was supported, challenged, and encouraged throughout my time with them and am truly grateful for the expertise and insight that they provided.
Philip, LCPC
I have known both Jeffrey and Todd for over a decade. They are professionals who operate with integrity when it comes to their clinical skills and personal lives. They both also have a passion to educate others and share their expertise, which is a testimony to their spirit of service.
Danielle, LCSW, LAC, LMFT
Jeffrey and Todd are great people to work with. They have a heart for people from clients to staff to community. Who you are and what you need is more important than what you can do for them. They hold community talks to inform the public about mental health, what it looks like, and how it can be treated. They seek to grow other providers as well as interns through teaching skills and concepts and pushing self-care. They are about building a healthy community and I get to be a part of it.
Kristi, LCPC

What This Course is Not
While this course will help you evolve as a therapist, it’s also important to know what this course is not.
It’s not about making millions of dollars a year.
It’s not about making your practice bigger or scaling to the moon.
And it’s definitely not about squeezing out as much money as possible from your clients.
If you want to become better at your job, get more confidence, and help more people… then this is for you.
But if you’re looking for the next “therapy practice growth hack…” then you’ll have to look elsewhere.
